Is this worth a fastpass? Or could we do this within the first few hours with a fairly short wait?

I watched parts of it (I don't want to spoil the whole thing) and it looks like fun for kids. My 5 yo DD doesn't really KNOW Belle that well, but she's seen the movie and honestly gets excited about any princesses in general.

So many touring plans say it's a MUST especially for kids, so I wanna try it. The days we're going to MK are 6 and 7 crowd level according touringplans. Ugh, I don't want to waste a fastpass.

With that attraction even if you use a fastpass and arrive right as the show starts, you will still have to wait the full 20min for the next show so IMO not worth it

It's worth a FP+ or you could go first thing in the MA or at night. The line is uncovered. It's sooooo much fun. DD6 loves it. It's so cute.

Take a look at the cheatsheet from easywdw.com. It gives estimated wait times for each ride throughout the day. According to the cheatsheet, on a moderate crowd day, the wait for ETWB will be 30 minutes by 9:30, 40 minutes by 10:00, and 50 minutes by 11:00.

We are planning to use a fastpass for it because it is a long attraction even with no wait (around 25 min), and we don't want to spend that valuable morning time on just one attraction. If you wanted to do it first thing, the wait probably wouldn't be very long, but if you wait until later in the morning, you'll end up spending almost 1 1/2 on just one attraction! (50 min. wait, plus 25 min actually in the attraction).

However, I'm basing all of this off the cheatsheets, so perhaps someone with actual experience will have better advice.

Personally, I'd wait and do this attraction in the evening, as it eats up a lot of time. I wouldn't want to be waiting for this when I could be going on other rides with a relatively short wait in the morning

According toMesaboy2's Fastpass Strategies, Priorities thread it is a good use of a FP. I used his thread as my FP bible and was very happy with how my days turned out. I often looked at standby waits for my FP attractions and if I was near by when a wait was short (or if it was my FP time and I realized the SB wasn't so bad) I figured I could then just get in line and change my FP to something else.

I found the SB wait long when I went to use my FP (11-12) and was glad I had the FP. Also, Enchanted Tales experience itself takes a good 20 minutes plus wait, so I figured during the first couple hours of park opening, I could do 2 maybe even 3 things in the time it would take me to wait and do Enchanted Tales once.

My experience matches up with Rose77's description above.

My DD7 insists on participating in the show every day that we are at MK (three times on our five-day February trip, I think). We usually schedule an advance FP+ for it, so that we are assured of getting in quickly at our preferred time. But that's mostly a safeguard. If the line does not look too long, we go through the stand-by line and change our existing FP+ for something else. We have gotten through stand-by very quickly mid-morning and in the early evening. Also, I have gotten a 4th or later FP+ for Enchanted Tales, too, so that may be an option for you.

We had to wait about 15 minutes even with a fastpass for last show to end, but we got in before some of the standby people, who would have had to wait through another show. All told, we spent about 45 minutes on this attraction even with a FP. After waiting in line, they have you do stuff in two room prior to even getting to the show with Belle.

If this is a "must do" then it is probably worth a FP. It is a very low capacity attraction and the line moves like molasses. Maximizing FP isn't about using it on your favorite rides, it's about minimizing time in line. And trust me..... if you can skip this line, it's worth it. Very slow moving, nothing interesting to see, and very hot.

We've made many trips to Disney but never have we experienced this attraction. My DD's are teens (but huge Disney fans). Is this something we should do in your opinion? Would you use FP+ for teen girls that love all things Disney? Or save FP+ for the Mountain rides? TIA

Personally I'd get there before 9:30am if you are talking about getting to it in the morning. I'm not sure about evening since we didn't check then. We went on Mine Train at RD then right to Enchanted tales and walked right in. By the time we left Enchanted Tales (around 10ish or so) there was a decent sized line. This was mid-November on a Friday.

I would recommend doing it. There are some cool effects I think they would enjoy.

For teens, I would use FP on something else and plan on doing this standby as late as night as possible.
