Enchanted tales with Belle

This will be our third trip (3rd Spring Break in a row). Our family is me, DH, DS 12, DS 9, DS 4. So a lot of little men! We never do the princesses and I personally love them. While they are not interested in meeting any princesses (not even Anna and Elsa), do you think they may find ETwB worth a FP?? We haven't done it before. ETwB and HM are my must dos. But how realistic would it be for three boys (who haven't seen the movie and have no interest to) to enjoy it. I don't want to be selfish and use the FP just because I want to see it. KWIM?

I'd think they'd like it - there's a good chance that at least one of them will be picked to be part of the play experience, so it's a chance for those who were not picked to rib/tease them afterwards or cheer them on in the moment. The mirrored door is pretty slick.

Play it up a bit, since they get pictures with Belle, maybe have them come up with gentlemanly poses ("may I have this dance" or "Please take my arm" kind of thing) so the pictures are more unique than "uncomfortable dude half smiling while standing beside girl in huge dress".

We did it with our family, ages below, but mainly for my girls. Even they, at 9, thought it was a little young for them; I think it's best up to age 6 or 7. Only one wanted to participate in the "play". My 13 year old son was chosen to be a knight by the CM, and while he wasn't too happy about it, he went along and there was even a smile or two.

I had my kids re-watch the movie before going to familiarize them with characters and story line, so not sure how it would go with kids who aren't familiar with them. Lumiere was the star of the show for the older kids and adults.

We went to kill time before our lunch at Be Our Guest, and only because there wasn't long a wait.

I'd probably put it at low priority for your group.

My then 7 yo DS was chosen to be in the play - he thought it was fun. I honestly think the WHOLE show is worth it just for the very beginning - that is some Disney magic. If they don't want to "meet" Belle afterward for a picture they don't have to.

It's cute, but I wouldn't use a fp on. T for a group who may have no interest. My daughter who is 8 thought it was nice to watch the little kids but she didn't want to participate at all.

We went last year, and my youngest daughter was 9, and she was ALMOST too old for it. She still participated, but she was slightly embarrassed. I figure this year Belle will be out. Having said that, I think they would enjoy it once. The play and interaction is really cute, and if they get to participate, it's really fun.

We just saw it a few days ago for the first time. It was cute, but unless you are there with a small child who enjoys that story and really wants to see Belle, they might find it a little juvenile and silly.

They CMs do get quite a few of the kids to participate in the "story"
and they have a photopass photographer there to get pictures of the kids participating and individual pictures with Belle.
