ENABLER ALERT: Do not walk... RUN to your nearest Big Lots

I found full packs (15-25 sheets per pack) of (mostly) Heidi Grace Design and Cloud 9 Design paper on sale for $1 per pack!!! That works out to be about 7 cents per sheet OR LESS! WOW! I bought one of every design they had. Not sure how long it was there. I hit the BL probably last Friday and I definitely didn't see it that night. And I don't get their fliers, so if it was in there, I didn't see it.

I wish our Big Lots had a better selection. Last time they had a bunch of paper, I couldn't find any, had to rely on AWM. There was one good Big Lots that I found when DH had an appointment with a eye specialist, but it is not the easiest to get to.

All that way and all they had were TWO, yes you read correctly, TWO whole packages of paper.

I got the Heidi Grace Midnight Kissesots and Halloween:Bats. 15 flocked sheets for $1.00.

That's it.

What a waste of gas. I didn't even need anything else in that direction.

But that is the way it goes with Big Lots. Not every store gets everything at the same time. So either I was late and it's all gone or there is some in the back. They were not going to look for me. Those were not the most cheerful faces I've ever seen. Wasn't even asking.

I'll check the one by ILs this coming week and go back to this one when I get home.

Sorry no one else seems to be having the same kind of luck. Maybe I just hit it just right.

My BL has a small crafts/scrapping section (separate from the school/office supplies area). They almost always have something new... punches, stamps, stickers, cardstock, etc. Some of the stuff just sits (and sits and sits), but when they get good stuff it seems to go quickly.

If anyone is interested in any of this paper, I would be happy to share! I might even hit the BL again tonight to see if there is anything more.......P

Just an FYI, I saw Cricut cartridges at my Big Lots. In same section they have their meager scrap book supplies.

So I was a big brave dog and hit the 2 that are near me. It was a major bust! Mine had the Asian mat stacks and the fairytale mat stacks, but they were $5 each. I know that does not sound like a lot, but DH does not have a job yet. No paper for me! Oh well...I have to say it was an interesting experience. DH said, Why are we here? Who on the DIS said what?!

Sorry, I missed this....I was at school w/ DS9 & than DS13 had a game... injurt to boot... good thing he has 4 days off before the next practice and 2.5weeks before his next game... got a bruised tailbone...fast break, lay up, and a TANK hit him, to the ground he went w/ a BANG! OMG! I did the concerned mom gasp and watched for him to get up... I didn't go down to check on him because you know how uncool that would be at Middle School level. He tried to play the 2nd game, lasted about 3 minutes and coach pulled him, she only put him in because he was determined to be there for the team...
