Emptying the trash

What do I do if I need to empty the trash one night and it is not the scheduled trash and towel day?

Will they come at any hour on an as needed basis - or
do the guests handle this themselves?

I am hoping to avoid garbage in the kitchen while someone is sleeping in the living room - yuk!

You will take out your own trash. There are locations to place the trash at each resort. At BWV there are closet-like rooms that are marked and have trash containers in them. At OKW each building has an outside room with containers for trash and recycles. I imagine something similar exists at the other resorts.

You have to take the trash out yourself. There are trash locations conviently located around the resort. At VWL, there is an area on each floor located near the elevator.

All resorts provide an area to put trash. At OKW, it's on the first level of each building, there's a closet with cans for regular and recycles. At BWV, there is a room on each floor with cans. I've only stayed at those resorts but I'm sure the others have a similiar setup. There are extra bags at the bottom of the garbage can in the room. We usually grab the trash and take it to the trash room on the way out in the morning.

At BCV there is also a room on each floor for trash. It was usually near the room for ice/vending. I acutally really ,like being able to take trash down there instead of having the trash overloading the garbage like I have in the past at regular resorts and waiting until the next day until someone takes it out.
