EMM doesn't sell out/Not marketed enough?

I just booked an october date (cancelled before proceeding to checkout) to see how much it is and it's $202 for 3 people (2 adults, 1 kid). Is it really worth that? There are some october dates free it looks like.

If you're into the rides offered, (7DMT, PP & Pooh) it is absolutely worth it IMO. The breakfast is good but that was just a bonus for us. I had planned to book it 2 mornings for our November trip. I'm sad it isn't available.

Let's say you can ride ten rides. So times 3 people, that's 30 rides. Take out the breakfast. So maybe it's $5-6 a ride? Or $15 bucks or so every time the three of you get on a ride.

Depends what those rides are worth to you.

Personally, I don't think this is one of the worst upcharge events, but I like breakfast and Fantasyland without people in it sounds really nice.

I hoped it would release before the 60 day mark for November trips, but we all know Disney doesn't want to make planning too easy for everyone ;)

We did it on 8/1. I rode 7DMT 11 times in a row and then had to stop because I was getting a headache and kind of dizzy. DS and DH rode it 13 times in a row before they started feeling bad. We then did Peter Pan once. We would have done Pooh, but it was down. They opened the carousel instead, but that didn't appeal to us. We waited by Peter Pan for a bit for the park to open and then headed to Haunted Mansion to be some of the first to ride it. Then we headed back to Pinocchio's for the breakfast, which was a lot better than I thought it would be. I think it was a good value, especially since we would have already been at the park about that time anyway for rope drop.

The only issue we had was that we parked at the TTC. Neither the ferry or monorails were running, so we couldn't get on something to MK until after 7:30am. They were already letting people into MK for the opening show on Main Street just as we walked up. I don't think this is normal though. However, next time, I would just take the bus from our hotel or uber over to the Contemporary and walk.

For those of us who aren't up on their acronyms, what is "EMM"???

I thought it was worth it. We are going twice during this current trip. We did the DHS one last year and were sorry it wasn't offered again.

As far as the mountains go, that wouldn't be worth it IMO. Splash takes about 18 minutes to ride - -that's 3 times during your hour. You could easily do the EMM, head to Splash (when it re-opens of course) and do it 3 times with little wait in the park's opening hour. Plus, logistically, they need to include rides that are close to one another. It's silly spending your short time walking all over the park, and expensive for Disney to open multiple lands and have multiple check points for the bands.

I wish they would add a character to the event -- Pooh, Peter or Snow White would be perfect.

We did EMM when it was offered at HS last year. I planned it as a special event for my son and I as he wanted to do Jedi Training and I was stressing about it. We LOVED it....we rode TSMM 6 times, met everyone offered but Olaf, rode Star Tours, then hit up Chewy and Kylo Ren before the crowds got bad and then did breakfast. It was not very popular, the CM said only 30 people were signed up. I don't think it lasted much longer. I wouldn't have paid for our whole family to do it...I think it loses its value when you are talking a couple hundred.
