EMH vs. Rope Drop

not all rides are open for EMH are they? I have no interest in Star Wars, so will have to watch to see how those early hours affect other rides. I'll be there Sept 30 - Oct 5. Wonder what time (hopefully not 6am!) I would need to show up to do Toy Story Land and Slinky Dog as basically "walk ons".

I have been hearing people suggest that doing EMH (during the summer) is no longer worth it because there are so many people there for EMH the crowds are actually quite large, and they instead go to Rope Drop at another park. What are peoples opinion on EMH vs Rope Dorp ? Which seems to be better for getting more rides in during those first few hours.

My experience is that people using EMH dribble into the park during the EMH. If you are able, I recommend rope dropping the EMH. Is there a term for that already?
