Can you help out with a couple of questions please? What was the crowd rating for the time of your visit? Did you got to all of the parks on their EMH (late hours) day? What were the crowds like prior to the EMH? We will be going in early June and will not be visiting the parks on the a.m. EMH but instead had planned on the visiting MK and EPCOT on the day when they have EMH late night. Have gotten differing opinions, avoid the parks that have the early morning or late night hours, avoid the early morning hours park, avoid the park that has the late night hours......you know what I mean. I too thought that I really didn't need the hopper feature and I am still trying to avoid purchasing it. We do have one day left on an old hopper and intend on using it for our last day where we may hop over to MK on it's late night EMH day after visiting one of the other parks.
Glad to help if I can.
We went in January so it's a lot different than visiting in early June, I'm sure. We did go to all the evening EMH parks that were open. In 2 days we rode RnRC 14 times and ToT 10! We also went to EPCOT and walked on MS (had FPs for TT); WS still closed at 9pm. It was not super crowded early on but it definitely thinned out as the evenings went on (we stayed at EPCOT until midnight and MGM until 10pm). The weather played a factor: at some of the EMH nights people looked downright cold so were leaving the parks because of that. (To us it seemed *balmy* compared to the weather we'd just left in N.E. so we were pretty pleased, LOL). Regardless of the weather, rides were walk on during the big shows (Illuminations, Fantasmic), picked up for about an hour afterward, then thinned out again later. We closed down RnRC pretty much by ourselves one of the nights.
We usually do the EMH morning hours but we only did one this time, AK, and that was kind of a waste because Dinoland was not open then and that's where we planned to start our day (though at 10:30am rode KRR 3 times without getting off). AK day also seemed to be a bit of a dilemma with the no hopping option since it closes early, but we just used that day to eat at Boma and visit the AKL, which was fun in and of itself.
We never made it to MK evening EMH because they'd changed the days and we never got the chance to go on the days we were there.
Only once did we leave the park and come back when we arrived early; otherwise we worked off the EMH schedule and arrived leisurely later on to stay the rest of the day. We also got the MYW dining plan which worked out well, too, with the EMH nights.
Why don't you save your hopper pass for a day you'd like to do two parks, maybe the day you do AK if you want to go elsewhere later on? Have a great trip!
