Hello,

We have not been to WDW since the new EMH has been implemented. Since we will be going in Jan of 06, I am wondering how the EMH evenings were this past January at MK. I know overall the parks will not be that crowded, but they will also be closing early. If EMH is the only time we get to spend late evenings (our favorite time!) in the MK, will it be crowded??

Thanks,

The EMH program is over at the end of summer and is not scheduled for next January. :rolleyes1

I was there in January (19-26) and I did not think the EMH's were crowded at all...the program was fairly new than too :) I did them at MGM and Epcot and everything was a walk on that was open in both parks! Disney kept tweaking with the schedule which was really annoying I was there for a week (Wed-Wed) and they did not have a MK EMH night at all during that time period (if I remember right they had it the day before I got there and the day I left.)

:sad2: Really over at the end of this summer? That's horrible. DH and I are going in January 2006 and I was under the impression EMH would still be going on. Oh well.

i do believe he is joking! we will be there this january too, and i was also wondering about EMH in MK. anyone know what time the park will be open until?

EMH will still be operating, but the days for each park haven't been released yet beyond August (I believe).

This last January it was either 7pm or 8pm depending on the night. Sat of MLK was till 11:00pm and New Years day through the 3rd saw extended hours.

That was not even funny! So, is there anyone out there that was at MK for EMH (evening) this past Jan? Past experience has shown me that even during the off season, MK can get crazy on the few nights a week it is open late.

Thanks,

DH and I were at WDW Jan 1st - 9th this year. We did EMH at MGM and Epcot. Both were very, very busy for the most popular rides, i.e. TOT and RNRC at MGM and TT and MS at Epcot. I think the only thing we rode at Epcot was JIYI, it was a total walk-on and Muppets 3D at MGM. The wait times for everything else were sooo long w/ no fastpasses. We just gave up and went home after about an hour. I have a feeling the lines probably would have gotten better if we'd stuck it out for another hour.
HTH

We were there this Jan for the first week 1/2-1/6. The first few nights it was very crowded (but it was during the day as well). Towards the end of the week it got better.

I think MK regular closing was 7 p.m. -EMH 10 p.m
Mgm 7 p.m - EMH 10 p.m.
Epcot 9 p.m. - EMH - Midnight
AK 5 p.m. - EMH 8 p.m.

Thanks for the replies. We will be in WDW from 1/08/06 - 1/16/06, hopefully we will be able to hit at leaast one EMH evening in the MK that is not too crowded.
