EMH & FP Question

Rather than ask the question using hypetheticals, I'm going to explain our situation:

We're going to EPCOT during EMH at 8:00. Can we get a FP for Test Track at say 8:10 AM? Let's say it says to return between 9:10-10:10. Then go ride Mission: SPACE and Universe of Energy.

Will we be able to get another FP at 9:15 for a different ride (Soarin')?

Basically, are FP running during morning hours???

I am almost certain on this one:

Regardless of if the park opens at 8AM EMH or 9AM, the first return time issued at any attraction is 10AM.

Although this was two years ago. we had a very different experience with FP. My DS (now 14) and I went to the early opening at Epcot via the International Gateway. Our first stop was Test Track. By the time we got there the line was long so we grabbed FP and got on the stand-by line. We didn't wait too long on stand-by but the ride had problems once we got on. At the exit we were offered another ride if we wanted to stay on. Of course we all stayed and rode again. We exited and got right back on with our Fast Passes. It could not have been anywhere close to 10am since we started at the 8am opening. Maybe it has changed since then, but we definitely used FP before 10am on our last trip.
