EMH - Fastpass question

Are the fast pass machines turned on before the morning EMH, or are they activated at the regular opening times?

Yes the fast pass machines are running during the EMH. The return times are usually after park opening or right at park opening.

ReneeJ may be right PART of the time...

But it totally depends on WHICH rides, WHICH park, WHICH EMH (am or pm) and WHAT are the crowd conditions.

Its up to the ride managers to determine when and whether to open FP distribution for inmdividual rides.

So, getting to AK on an EMH morning and grapping FastPass for, say, Kali and EE may not be beneficial? (Assuming Safari was the 1st destination)

Actually, now that I think about it, if most head for the Safari, if I get there quick enough to be one of the first on (and first off), then head for EE and get a FastPass and then get in line, too.....hmmmm

Or maybe right the Safari a 2nd time and see if we see different animals?

These days the crowd splits in the early mornings (EMH or regular) and "half" head to EE first, other half to Safari.
Both hordes are walked back to the attractions by CM's, so there is no "running ahead".

If you are doing EE, maybe follow the CM to there, grab a FP and go to the Safari. If the time is a bit later still to go on EE, go to Kali then EE. Maybe?? I dunno, that may be alot of extra walking though. Keep in mind, you can't get a second FP until after the start time of the previous FP.
