Ok quick question.

At Epcot after Illuminations, they get rid of the excess propane by doing a big blow out, with a countdown and everything. Is this only viewable during the EMH's? Reason I ask is we are going in Sep and when we are there on Sep 29, we have tickets for MNSHP. Of course this is the same day at nightime EMH at Epcot FW.

TYIA!

Has the inferno barge been repaired/replaced and put back into action?

Yes, it has been back for a while now.

About the original question, I would assume it is only during EMH (if they even do it then).

I know they normally do it late at night, so I doubt seriously on a normal park night, you'll get to see it. However, they have done it earlier before, where people who got into a restaurant just before closing and left about 1 hour after park closing got to see it.

However, know ahead of time that the blow off is not the same each time, and is fully dependant upon how much is left in the tank.

If you have already seen Illuminations, I dont think it's something that you'd really want to take a lot of time trying to get a peek of.

Honestly, I don't think it's really anything to worry about. I have seen a video of it and I was unimpressed. Of course, it was just a grainy video, but it wasn't anything really exciting.

Right. Though it sounds cool, I dont think you'd find it that impressive.

Ive seen the video before. It wasnt that impressive but I still wouldnt mind seeing it. Im a big fan of loud booms! Im not going to go out of my way to view it, but was just wondering.

civileng68, you changed the name of your radio station? How did I miss that?
It use to be just MouseRadio right?

I would hope that burning off the extra gas would not generate a very loud "boom".

They burn off a LOT of gas during the show and there is no "booming".

And a loud boom late every night would be disturbing for the guests at the nearby Epcot Resorts.

The one big BOOM that they for-sure had was the time the barge was so badly damaged it was unable to be used in the show for months.

BTW, it returned to the IllumiNations show about Feb. 1st of this year, and I think its "raging inferno" looks even better now than it did before the mishap.

Hi Nebs!

No, it's still "Mouse Radio". My website is DisneyMouseRadio.com because Mouse Radio was taken. I've got the rights to both but, wierdly enough, the company I bought the rights to for Mouse Radio.com kept it after I changed my site to another host. It's a long story, but, very soon I'll have my site linked to both.

so anyways, it's just Mouse Radio. However, we did change the station now to ONLY in-park audio.

Cool. I like in-park audio best. But does that mean none of the ...""...zip a de do dah, tip for the day" TV audio?
I love those things. They make me :)

Dont get me wrong, I like some of the music from the movies, but when I am listening to Disney stations on Live365, I want the music from the resorts/parks.

I know the propane burn off is not a loud boom. but it is hard to describe. I wouldnt care about that noise if I stayed at the Epcot resorts. If you are that close, you expect to hear the fireworks right.
