SO excited about our first trip to BCV coming up. Quick question re early entry to EPCOT. Can you take the boat from BCV and enter through international gateway or must you enter from the front of FutureWorld? Also if you walk from BCV what entrance do you end up at? How long of a walk?
Thanks!

we entered early from the international gateway one day. You just walk through world showcase on your way to future world attractions that are open.

The walk from bcv is not bad at all maybe about 5 minutes walking leisurely(10 minutes absolute most), the walkway ends at the turnstyles to international gateway basically right where the boat would drop you off as well.

Sometimes its actually shorter to walk than take the boat

If you are familiar with the bridge that goes from the walkway from Epcot to the Boardwalk, then the small gate to BCV is just past that bridge. You wind up walking around the edge of the BC units, then turn to the left at the end of the BC units. You will walk under a gazebo type area, take a left and you are facing Ariel.

If you don't turn left at the end of the BC units, you will have to go completely around the BCV and enter at the far side of the pool.

So when you leave the front entrance of the villas, turn left, then right. The path will turn to the left through small iron gate (short, about 3' high), then the path turns to the right. Go straight, out to the walkway that fronts the lagoon. Take a left and you are headed to the International Gateway.

It will take you as long to walk to the boat as it will to walk to the IG entrance. Then you have to calculate the time to ride the boat.

It's an easy walk.

After you enter International Gateway you will need to turn LEFT to get to future world. The bridge to the right, going toward France, is chained-off until 11:00 a.m.
