Emeril's in City Walk

My wife loves Emeril and wants to go to his resturant. We wont be going to US or IoA, we'll be staying in WDW. How is the resturant? What is there to do at City Walk after (or before) we eat?

Sorry that I can't answer about how the food is at Emeril's (we will be trying it in October for the first time), but we have eaten at his restaurant Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific Hotel. It was very good, and you might consider that also.

There are lots of shops at City Walk, as well as night clubs if you don't have kids with you. You could have a drink at Margaritaville too! The atmosphere is really nice.

I have been to Emeril's at Citywalk twice. My last visit was in Dec 2004 and I have to say that the food and the service is teriffic. There are numerous clubs open afterwards or you can grab a movie. The only thing I caution people about is that is a little expensive but well worth it. Hope you have a great time.

I was reluctant to try Emerils since I thought the food would be a bit too "froo-froo". I wanted to go back to Tchoup-Chop, but DH wasn't crazy about the place, so off to Emerils we went. It was great. I still prefer Tchoup-Chop, but I have to say I would also return to Emerils. I agree with the pricey comment--but I think it would be great if you take your wife to one of these places.

i'm sorry but i'm not paying $30 for porkchops and "smashed" potatoes....i bought a tee shirt instead..lol

Make reservations at least 30 days in advance, and try to get a reservation after 6pm. Parking is free after 6pm. There are shops and clubs at CityWalk, plus there is the movie theater.

I've been to Emeril's several times & tried that exact dish on our last visit. I can attest to the fact that is was positively to die for (as is almost everything we've tried there). We feel it's well worth the splurge for the higher quality cuisine & service that spoils you rotten
