Emerald Island - Townhouse, vrbo.com - anyone rent there?

has anyone ever rented a townhome in this community? I found a great deal on VRBO.com - the owner is Dave Marino - just spoke to him. Just wondering if anyone has any comments about this place and/or if they've actually ever rented from this owner before or not. There are no Guest comments on the page. Thx very much!

If you are referring to Emerald Isle, North Carolina; I've spent a lot of time there over the past 30+ years. As for the one place you are talking about renting I'm not familiar. However whenever I've rented on the Island it is with Emeraldislerealty.com. They have always been good at inspecting the properties they support on their site. I’ve never had a bad place or experience.

Thx, but I'm referring to a gated community in Orlando called Emerald Island.

Do not know that owner, but have rented a TH in that community before. It is older but nice, gated. The community pools/hot tubs are smaller but nice. The place we had was a 4BR/3.5BA that had plenty of room, well furnished, clean. The community is just outside AK, off WDW property, not too bad of a drive once you learn your way around. FWIW.

We stayed at Emerald Island at the end of December 2008. It is a very nice, quiet community. We swam in the clubhouse pool several times (on the small side, but it was very warm!), and we used the tennis courts one day. The unit that we rented was very nicely furnished, and clean. It was a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and theme parks. I would definitely recommend it.

We also stayed there but not the exact same one.

We went in the off season (Jan 07) and it was $80 per night for 4 bed/3 bath. It was great. Had everything we needed, was clean and well stocked.
