Emerald Island Directions

I thought read somewhere here about a short cut from Emerald Island to the parks. Does anyone have those directions?

Short cut to Disney property from the Bonita

Turn right leaving Emerald Island Resort onto Funie Stead Rd
at stop sign take left onto Formosa Gardens Blvd
At light turn right onto 192 east
turn left at the first light onto Sherberth Rd
follow to light
at light take right unless going to Animal kingdom lodge

On return follow signs to Animal Kingdom lodge and at light take left onto Sherberth Rd

Thanks. We are going Easter Week which I know will be busy. How much time do you think it will take from EI to the parks?

5-10 minutes at most, of course it depends on which park you're going to. AK is less than 5 mins...MGM/EPCOT are fairly close also...MK is the furthest away..and of course..MK is just a HUGE pain to get in / out of.

If you look down the board a little bit for a thread I posted on the shortcut to Windsor Hills, you will find a map I drew up of how to get to/from the parks using this "Back door" route... of course at the ending part you don't go to WHR...but it's pretty similar (they're close to one another..EI and WHR).

I think that it will be longer then 5-10 minutes.

We were down on presidents week and there was traffic and a very bad accident one of the days ( car caught on fire real crazy and def. not normal). Just give yourself a little bit of extra time is all.

It truly is not far, I have made it in minutes most days, but the reality of it is anything can happen and sometines does. ( we were late for bibbiddi bobbiddi boutique appointment )

You will find it easy and generaly very quick. Just to be sure leave a few minutes early to make sure.
