Emerald aisle ???

I have a couple of questions about emerald aisle.

First can you use a coupon to upgrade to an intermediate car and second if you can use the coupon to upgrade, do you have to go to the counter to check in or can you go right out to the aisle?

To use Emerald Aisle, you have to book an intermediate, I don't believe you can use an upgrade coupon to get to intermediate. Any upgrade coupon sends you to counter service.

Yes, you can use a coupon to upgrade to an intermediate. You cannot, however, use the EA, you will go to the intermediate aisle after you go to the counter. You will have to go to the counter for any coupon that is an upgrade coupon.
