When wanting to use the Emerald Aisle, do I need to mark anything on our reservation or just select Midsize vehicle? I know that when we arrive in MCO we just go to the special aisle and pick any car we want, but does this need to be marked on our reservation so they know we aren't specifically wanting a midsize? Thanks!

On the National website, first sign where the Emerald Club members sign in. (If you haven't already become an Emerald Club member, do that first) Once you are signed in as an EC member, just reserve a mid size car. It will 'automatically' register as Emerald Aisle when you reserve the car.

Also, keep checking rates, you can modify or book as rates change or if you come across coupon codes. If you book a new reservation, be sure to cancel the first.

Just wanted to mention that when you book National Emerald Aisle, it will default to intermediate size when you log in with your account info. Also, you agree to accept intermediate IF there is nothing larger in the Emerald Aisle. Yes, it does happen. Last year there was hardly anything bigger than an intermediate size car in the aisle during my 6 trips. However, this year the selection has been better than last year.

I am going to sign up for this. However, right now we have a res for a full size through National. Are we able to pick our car with that as well? We have 2 in car seats and it would be a nightmare if we had a 2 door, so I am hesitant signing up for a mid size.

National allows everyone to pick their own car. For a non-Emerald Aisle reservation, you must go to the size row you reserved. So you would go to the full size row if that is what you reserved. Technically you must book intermediate to pick out of the Emerald Aisle row but I have seen them make exceptions for Emerald Club members who book a larger car and see something they like on the Emerald Aisle rather than their reserved size.
