Emerald Aisle Reserve Walk through

OK,

So I have been doing some research about this question and the boards and hve not found an exact answer. Maybe on of you can help me out.

I have Emerald Aisle Reserve- Compact.

So here are my questions.

I am arriving VIA Air-Tran, which side should I use A or B? Does one have better selection than the other or does it not matter becuase I am doing reserve?

Once I arrive at the National Cars in the garage Do I go to the Emerald Aisle to find my compact or do I just go to the regular compact aisle?

What besides my DL do I hand the attendent on the way out?

If you have a reservation with national and have entered all of your informaiton in your reservation you should be able to walk right to the compact section and pick out the car you want. The Emerald Aisle is usually for when you book an intermediate car and you can take what ever is in that aisle. Check your reservation to make sure it does say Emerald Aisle service. If it does usually the minimum size car is intermediate.

In MCO I have seen full size cars and the odd mid-size suv and rarely a convertible pt cruiser. If you don't see anything that you like then just ask about taking a different vehicle from a different aisle. On a recent trip all there were was mid size and full size cars and I asked if I could take a Highlander and they had no problem with that. Highlander for $17 a day, bonus.

Hey, Nkkilala, been a little while since WPASADI ended!

Yep, this is all you have to do. I like to hand them my National card along with my DL and reservation confirmation, as well as any coupons I am using.

I got a Cobalt in Reno two weeks ago.... nice little car to drive, but it was small. If it had been more than my dad and I, we would have been out of luck for room to put stuff.....

I have Emerald Reserve (mid-sized SUV) at LAX this Saturday... it is always fun to rent from a location that has Emerald Reserve and Emerald Aisle... I love picking out my car! DD8 loves Jeeps, so that is what we will take if they have one.....

It has been a while!!

I'm excited for my first rental car reservation! I'd be happy with a Cobalt. It is just me and the *Hubby* so we should be fine!

Do they automatically charge my credit card I have on my profile or do they charge the one I give them at the booth? I recently applied and got accepted for a card that offers rental car insurance so I can feel better refusing it at the counter.

I recommend changing your profile before you leave. I had an old card in my profile and handed them a different one at the booth and they charged my old card

Totally agreed. The process is designed to get you in and out in a hurry. There is a good chance that they don't even register the new card when you drive through. Change it in your profile before you go....
