Embassy Suites -- tell me the pros and cons please!

we heard a good review on this place and are considering changing our plans... we are currently booked in at desert inn in a suite type of room.

which one should we stick with?

in our group we have 4 adults, 3 kids!

If your kids are of nap-bearing age (or any adults need naps for that matter ;)) stick with the DI&S. It is such a time saver to be able to make a 5 minute trek back to your room vs. waiting on a shuttle.

Also note that there are two Embassy Suites in the area. The one in Anaheim is actually quite a distance from DL, while the one in Garden Grove is about a mile and a half south of the park.

But I'd second the recommendation of familyoffiveAZ => stick with the very close location of the DI (or some other walking distance hotel like Candy Cane Inn).

I agree, unless you don't mind the hassle of the shuttle, stick with what you've got. If the shuttle doesn't matter much, then I might be inclined to try it out if you got a better rate than the DI&S.

Don't forget to add in another $24 to $48 to your Embassy Suites price though to account for 4 adult shuttle passes (I am assuming you are there more than one day, $24 would be for 2 day passes, $48 for 5 day passes!)

I agree with the others. If you have little ones and need to go back to your hotel alot you want to stay close. Embassy South is really nice. We stayed 5 adults for 9 days and we were very comfortable.
