Email today about saved offer with PIN attached

I received of these emails in my inbox today too! For my dates April 8 - 18, 2010. I called Disney and the CM told me that the 15 digit pin code was for free dining. I asked if it was for my dates in April and she said no, there are NO codes out yet for 2010. To call back at a later date.
*sigh* But also happy that I'm receiving PINS! :) :woohoo:

I just opened my email and got 4 separate emails for dates I had been looking up a few weeks ago (never saved it as far as I know). One was for All star movies, one for All star Music, one for WL and one for GF. It has a 15 digit pin code at the bottom, and is for one night, Nov 28. I had priced this night out before because we are arriving one night early for our package at WL (Nov 29 to Dec 5).

It can't be a free dining code because free dining is not offered that week...technically Nov 28 is still in the Thanksgiving blackout dates.

Hoping its a room discount...would be great to get a discounted room at WL and not have to change resorts. Was planning to stay at Pop to save money, but might not have to now.

Anyone call to see if the PIN was actually a room discount, and how much?

I got 4 of them today and was so excited that I might get to stay at AKL for my birthday (March 2010) but if it is just FD through 2009 why send it to people with 2010 dates attached?

If they are trying to get us to go in 2009, I have already been! And if we all go now who will go in 2010?

I also got two of them PIN emails of non-usefulness today. Both for the dates I had been looking at for Marathon Weekend in January.

Unfortunately, this just goes along with the SUPER EXCITING pin email that I got yesterday for DisneyLAND. Oy. :confused3

Oh well, 2010 discounts soon, right? RIGHT?

I just got the same email for June 2010. But once the CM punched the pin number in she said it was a free dining pin for travel through 12-17-09.

DARN!!! :rotfl:

I got the 15 number Pin also. I called and it saved us $410. We are in a Family Suite at Music and already had the Disney Visa Dining Deal but we had to pay the diffrence between the Quick Service Dining and regular Dining. The code took care of that so if your in a Value this could save you quite a bit.

I got one too. I've been searching online for my travel dates in August 2010. I have a ressie booked through AAA but have been playing around on the WDW website. The email showed my 2010 travel dates, and gave a PIN number, but didn't say what discount the PIN offered. I called and it's just for Free Dining through 12/17/2009! :confused3 Why send me a PIN only good through 12/2009 and show the 2010 dates I've been searching on? Grrrrr....

Oh no. I am bummed. I got the same thing but I haven't called yet. My saved offer is for June 2010.

BAH! PPs are right...its just a trick to get you to call. Its for free dining available from now to Dec 17....with a minimum stay of 4 nights. BLAH...i wanted a room discount for that one night (Nov 28)

Its a dirty trick because the email puts the dates you searched for...but the code is not attached to those dates (unless of course you wanted to book a package for 4 or more nights between now and Dec 17).

Phooey!:sad2:

I received two emails and my husband received one..all had the 15 digit pin code. We have a room only reservation booked for September at Carribbean Beach where we got the room discount. I was going to add park tickets and dining on next week. The free dining offers on the website didn't cover our dates. But the pin code free dining does. Now I need to see if the free dining is a better deal than the room savings. I'll go with what ever saves us the most!

I had the offers saved in hopes of getting a pin code. Looks like it worked!!!

I just called with the 15 digit pin code and it is for the free basic dining plan NOT the quick service plan. No additional room discounts with it though just the free basic dining plan. Mine was for a value resort but he said you can use it at any resort any how. Those of you that received a three letter pin it is probably for the general public offer but to know for sure you will need to call.

I received an email with a picture of the Yacht Club, mentioning that we are planning a trip, then gives a "possible" date of reservation [10/23/09-11/01/09], and gives a 15 digit PIN code to give at booking, but no price is given :confused3

We are about 3 weeks out from a booked trip to the Yacht Club, so I'm not sure what this offer is....anyone else get one?

*sorry, should have finished reading the whole thread......just add me to the group who got one. Reading the rest of you jogged my memory that I had played with that week a while back when I thought my trial was going to interfere with our planned trip. Fortunately, it continued......

I got these emails too...

one for POP in Dec and one for BC in Aug 2010...

It actually made me nervous when I opened it because I just made ressies yesterday for Aug 2010 for CR & when I looked at the email & I saw BC w/ my dates I panicked & thought my ressies were wrong!!:scared1:

Would have been cool to get a pin code for 2010 already...

Ok, and how was it more special then the discounts offered to the public?? :confused3
I feel ripped, I get one and it's nothing more then the general public discount. Wow, thanks. NOT! :rotfl:

DITTO! Got all excited about some "pin" with a 15 dig #, called & it was for the already 'free dining'. Oh well. :)

Actually, I got the email with the 15# code from the saved quote that I had done a few weeks ago.....and it was for a % off a room only (not a lot of dates and discount depends on when and where you stay) but she also told me that we had a household pin for free dining, and it was different than the General Public - no blackout for Thanksgiving on my code/pin- I booked the free dining code without the Thanksgiving blackout dates (Nov 25-30th).

I received this same email earlier today with the exact dates from a saved offer. Later this evening I received a new email for 40% off on a different saved offer (I was playing around on the Disney website about 2 months ago using different dates in October). Unfortunately we are not going until February. I have now gone back on to the Disney site and saved three trips for our dates in February - hope this works!!!

I got this too! I didn't even realize I had saved any offers. I was just doing some research to see if we wanted to switch our January ressie to November to take advantage of a differnt offer (we decided not to). I guess I should start saving my January trip dates and see if I get anything!

It isn't just saved offers, I don't think, because I got a couple for offers I searched but didn't save on the same session that I did save two offers (so I was logged in).

There's no discount attached to the PIN, though, at least for 2010 dates. It seems like it is just a way of tracking bookings from saved offers/searches.
