Email today about saved offer with PIN attached

Ok, and how was it more special then the discounts offered to the public?? :confused3
I feel ripped, I get one and it's nothing more then the general public discount. Wow, thanks. NOT! :rotfl:

I just called about it. This pin is a room discount, which I can't use because of the free dining. I am still waiting for the FD+40% off!!! well, one can hope right??:rotfl:

Someone the other day mentioned they received an email w/ a pin code for over Christmas time - seems she's the only one that rec'd that...

Why can't Santa bring me that email early! :)
:happytv:

This may have been mentioned already as I didn't read all the comments, but I got the e-mail offer today...5 times. Then I noticed the dates selected and guest # combinations and recognized the offers as identical to the "saved offers" I have on the disney world web site. So they are sending people offers based on what they want anyway. Clever. They do have the lengthy PINs but I haven't checked out whether I save any extra money over what the saved offers were anyway. I am off to do that now. :confused3

Good luck then!!! Maybe i should save some hotel rates .. lmao, maybe i'd get lucky and get a pin code

I received my saved offer Pin today.
I called the pin is for free dining applicable for the dates I had saved which are the actual dates we are going Sept 10- Sep20.

It is good for Free dining until December 17th and have to book by the end of October.

It is basically the promo that is available to the general public right now. No further room discounts or anything.

The price he gave me was actually $80.00 more than what I paid through CAA.

I also keep getting PIN codes which I can't use.

I really want to do a Deluxe resort and hope that I'll get one so I can upgrade. Trips in 2 weeks so I doubt it will happen.

I think if you have saved offers online from doing price checks they send you these offers in case you aren't aware of them .

I got this too! I didn't even realize I had saved any offers. I was just doing some research to see if we wanted to switch our January ressie to November to take advantage of a differnt offer (we decided not to). I guess I should start saving my January trip dates and see if I get anything!

I saved some dates for a January visit, maybe they'll send me something for those dates. I'm sure there will be AP rates for my pre DVC checkin dates, but would like to buy airfare and having a reservation helps me know what date I'm arriving.

If it has a pin, is it absolutely a discount? I just received this too, but I have in the past as well, and it appears to just be rack rate when I go to book it, but if it has a pin.................I will call later.

I got the email today with a 15 digit PIN for an offer I had saved at the Polynesian for dates in Oct. Don't know what the discount is. We're already booked at another resort for those dates, so I'm not planning to call and see what the PIN is for. I'm a little curious though. Last week, my 9-year-old got a post card with a PIN by snail mail. Looks like Disney is really pulling out all the stops to lure people to WDW.

I just got it as well. I'll call and see what the pin is. Its for a trip I had saved in May.

Ohhhh, you're right. I had 2 saved offers and got 2 emails. No extra discounts, just the free dining promo.

After all of my begging for free dining in Nov. I can't even use it now! I'm still going but for work and I was offered a GREAT rate for the Disney's beach resort. Can't pass it up. I'll have to pay for food, but I get to stay at the Beach resort compared to CBR.

I got one too. I've been searching online for my travel dates in August 2010. I have a ressie booked through AAA but have been playing around on the WDW website. The email showed my 2010 travel dates, and gave a PIN number, but didn't say what discount the PIN offered. I called and it's just for Free Dining through 12/17/2009! :confused3 Why send me a PIN only good through 12/2009 and show the 2010 dates I've been searching on? Grrrrr....

What a let down! After reading the first two sentences of your post, I was half way to the Disney reservations page to start saving offers for 2010. :rotfl2:

It may not bee any better than any of the general public discounts, but it might be. You need to price out your trip to find out for sure.

I just got the same PIN. I called to price out my current vacation and it's the exact same price, down to the penny. Sigh. At least I know I'm on their mailing list.
