Email from my AAA agent re: pin code ressies

Nope. I have gotten a couple of pin codes in the past, but not this time. I have had a package with dining booked at rack since October, 2 days after I got back from my last trip. I think other discounts will come this way, if not, I am going regardless.

Denise

Think she meant me (I'm the OP and Denise). I plead the 5th as not to inciminate myself! ;)

However you look at it.. it certainly sounds like they are honoring the reservations. And that's a good thing.

So far, only 59 people have signed the "I used the code and didn't get a pin" thread.. in the grand scheme of things.. 60 people is NOTHING.

J

I'm sure there are plenty more people who used the code. They may not have responded to the thread because they don't want to deal with all the flames.:scared:

DisJunkie:

Oh yeah probably but even if it was 3000 rooms spread across all the weeks of the year it was offered -- for Disney -- that's a drop in the bucket.

I seriously doubt for those without the code .. the number of bookings is even close to that.

I think there is at least 40,000 rooms to fill every day.....What they did with "the code" is a drop in the bucket..

Just my opinion, however, I worked in retail during college and if we miss marked something we had to eat the cost regardless of the amount until we changed the sign/price tag. I would think this would fall under simular law.

Just guessing but, I don't think they could take the price away if they wanted to. Plus, the bad PR wouldn't be worth it. Even at 40% off they are still making money you can count on that, they aren't losing it. Just not making as much.

Again, just my opinion but, I would guess legally they have to honor the price.

I am glad for those who booked have a great Disney trip.

We treaded all this water a few weeks ago on these boards and in the end.. we realized that we were all speculating abuot stuff we couldn't possibly know the answers too... and all it was doing was serving to "angry up the blood" as Grandpa Simpson says.

It's a vacation.. go and enjoy it. Don't worry about what other people did or did not get.

Disclaimer: she is one of the highly recommended AAA agents that tons of DISers use and books large volumes of WDW trips. She said their office has spoken to Disney about the pin code ressies that were made recently. She said Disney will honor ALL pin code ressies as long as they have "money" on those reservations. I know it is another 2nd hand story, but I thought I'd pass on what WDW told them.
I sent you a pm.

So am I finally going to get to meet you? PM me!

I noticed we both switched from POR:laughing: As of today we are staying at OKW with a member discount for the weekend then definitely staying at BWV for the other 5 days. If/when an AP rate comes out it's definitely going to be BC or Polynesian. I'm sure after seeing all of your pictures, I'll find you:cutie:
Send me a pm of your dining ressies, maybe ours will cross.
