email for disney complaints?

Sounds to me like the OP doesn't even want to complain. Sounds more like he/she wants to make Disney aware so they can re-inforce the safety and "be aware of your surroundings" issue to their characters and CMs so they don't scare off other kids like that. Nothing wrong with that!

:thumbsup2 That was the impression I got from OP

Heck it happens, but sometimes you just have to let someone know that it did. The characters can be pretty scary to some kids :scared1: and one little thing like this can make them afraid to the point of not wanting to be near any for a long time.

What's the matter TD? Your hyperbole yesterday wasn't near as grumpy. You usually like a challenge to see how long you can get people going before they close the thread. You went straight for it today. Maybe we could send you a homemade card to cheer you up. ;)

Bwahaha! :rotfl2: and a thousand :thumbsup2!

This is the stuff that has to stop. The OP wants to complain and they are 100% allowed to do that. Why does every person feel the need to come on here and say - oh that didn’t happen. Yesterday I said my kids were scared of the headless horseman at MNSSHP and I was met with being called a troll. The OP didn’t ask for a lecture just the email address.

Because when people complain about this type of stuff you get this vision of the over protective mother freaking out because there was an accident and the very fact that she stated that it was done on purpose gives people more ammunition to believe that. Why would they do this on purpse, why even go there unles, unless, you are looking for some kind of freebie...

Thanks OP for the original question. It is helpful. I did have a compliment to pass on and wasn't sure what the email address was. It saves me from looking it up. I'm sorry about your son. I can certainly understand your disappointment.

I’m sorry I’m not really sure what you are talking about. The OP asked a legit question and received a legit answer. Before anyone can attack her for the degree of her complaint I believe the thread should be closed. The question was not opinion based and this thread has provided the answer.

Not our place to judge or create hypothetical situations on what we believe happened. This is a fact based thread. OP asked for an email address and one was provided. Case closed. Mods please close this thread.

Wow, any discussion, just shut it down.....I've gotten in trouble for asserting a certain slant to TD posting and leanings....but this confirms it.

Sorry Sir but the request was not a discussion, opinion, nor review of a service. It was a simple question for contact information. The OP has been provided that information and this thread has reached its useful life. Again Mods please shut this down.

Ahhh...so it's a call for a preemptive closure...
That may set a dangerous precedent....

Would you agree that the Op’s question has been answered? If so, what other useful information can be gained by keeping this thread open?

A forum by its very definition IS a discussion. I could understand your frustration if all the OP posted was the question, but they ALSO posted the situation. That opens the topic up for discussion.

First, she said her sons said he did it on purpose, probably due to the amount of force that was used. Second, why the hell does every Disney defender immediately make baseless accusations such as this?

You've already had someone explain to you why Disney would want to know about such an occurance, but for some reason you want to make asinine assumptions. You know what happens when you ASSume, yes? Well, you just did.

Again Sir I disagree. The topic of the thread is the email address for complaints. Anyting not relating to providing an email for complaints is going off topic (including this response):confused3. We are doing a disservice to those looking for information by diluting the thread with personal opinions.

If the title of the thread was should I complain then yes we would have free range to discuss. Mods I suggest a sticky be created for key Disney contact information. Please close this thread.

If I have learned only 1 thing on these boards... it's the proper use of Fastpasses :)

But - If I've learned 2 things on these boards... #1 would be proper use of fastpasses, and #2 is definitley NEVER START A THREAD with "E-mail for Dinsey Complaints"....

If I've learned 3 things on these boards, #1 is the fastpass crap, #2 - don't start threads with the word complaint..... but #3 - and possibly the MOST IMPORTANT thing I've learned on these boards....is if YOU DO start a thread requesting an e-mail address for the complaints dept. NEVER EVER EVER tell your complaint!!!

One time in fromt of MK we were leaving and Goofy and Chip and Dale and some others were there and we had seen a billion characters and we were tired and our feet hurt etc.

But we hadn't gotten C&D's autograph and the lines were really short so my DD went over and the rest of us hung back.

And Goofy had no line. zero. and he starts waving us over like, come on, drop on by and we gave him the sort of "no thanks we're good wave" and he waved again and finally we felt so bad for the guy we sauntered over and snapped a pic with him.

I do agree that the question has been answered.
So, if an OP asks if they can use their PH ticket to enter any of the 4 parks on Monday, and I say "yes"..should that thread then be closed...since the question was answered?

If you have truthfully answered the question then - yes. What more can be discussed? The thread should be closed so that those do not have to sort through 3-4 pages of opinions on how someone should use their pass.

Interesting concept....

So maybe instead of a community forum, we should just have a FAQ websight.

I can see it now - instead of disboards.com it's disfaqs.com

I don't think the sponsors would be to excited about that. ;)

It is not our business what happened or if the OP gets a 7 week all expense vacation from it. No where did the OP ask our opinion if she should complain. Let Disney handle it. OP your question has been answered. Mods please close this thread.
Seriously??? IF the OP had merely asked for the address, and was given it, and then went away with no further posting, then sure....no discussion.
BUT..that is NOT what happened. She (making an asssumption here that it's a mom), came back and described what happened. This is a discussion board, hence, the discussion. If you tire of reading the responses, I would recommend just not opening the thread rather stirring up things with your request to close the thread. Nothing has been said that is 'thread-closure' worthy.

To the OP.....did this happen while your kids were with Woody/Buzz??? I have worn one of those 'foam heads' (as my dh calls them) and believe me, they are really hard to see out of, other than straight ahead. Perhaps the character was stomping to make a point and your ds's foot happened to be there??? I seriously doubt a character would intentionally stomp on a child's foot. Did the character intend to 'stomp'??? Probably so. But did he intentionally stomp on your child's foot??? Hopefully not. But, I can sure understand how your ds might have felt it was done on purpose.

This is why we always tend to stay right in front of the characters...at least until they motion us to come to their sides. That way, they know exactly where we are at. One time I had moved to the side to say something to someone over on my side...but Goofy didn't notice me move. He stuck his arm out to gesture to my dd...almost took my head off!! Poor guy. Not his fault..mine completely. But he kept 'apologizing' in that special non-speaking character way they have.

I really hope the OPs ds can move past this and have some fun character interaction in the future. It would be a shame if this colored future visits for him.

I am asking that you stay on topic. The topic is what is the email address for complaints. If you have knowledge that can be helpful in answering the topic question - what is the email address for complaints than please respond. Anything else is mere opinion and not helpful to the topic of this thread.
