As an FYI to others checking out this thread (as there will, likely be many ...I've never had to email them but I did a quick search online and came up with:
wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com
Hope this works out for you!
), this is also the e-mail to write to should you have Disney compliments.
Thanks I had emailed before many times for compliments too, just could not find the email i used.
It is nothing big just something for them to maybe make sure does not happen again!
We were at the studios, first time we all went! We had done tsm then got in line for Buzz and Woody. The kids were soooooo excited.
well buzz was either goofing or not watching and as my sons said he stomped on his foot hard and on purpose!
he came running to me in tears... real ones and holding his foot hopping. He refused to go near them for his pictures.
Now the cm with the characters was nice enough to tell me he could come back anytimg just nock on the door and he could go right in.
But my son wanted nothing to do with them, in fact it ruined the whole day.
I am sure some of you can relate to those days when one thing catapolts the rest of the day to do a downward spiral?
so we ended up leaving after only a few hours.
It made me sad since this was our only studios day planned and how excited he was to meet them
This is the stuff that has to stop. The OP wants to complain and they are 100% allowed to do that. Why does every person feel the need to come on here and say - oh that didnt happen. Yesterday I said my kids were scared of the headless horseman at MNSSHP and I was met with being called a troll. The OP didnt ask for a lecture just the email address.

You are right, they are 100% allowed to complain. And when they described the situation on this forum, the members of this forum are 100% allowed to comment on what little sense it makes to complain to WDW about something that was obviously an accident. I mean, what does the OP expect WDW to do-tell the Buzz CM, "Next time, watch where you put your foot!?" We've ALL accidentally stepped on people on accident. It's unfortunate that it made the child scared, but not anyone's fault. It's just life.
It is not our business what happened or if the OP gets a 7 week all expense vacation from it. No where did the OP ask our opinion if she should complain. Let Disney handle it. OP your question has been answered. Mods please close this thread.

Actually, to Disney this is not a NON-issue. Their Safety mantra is "No One Gets Hurt", and that goes for our Guests as well. And she was given the address....complain to Disney for the NON-Issue that this is.

If Buzz accidentally stepped on a child's foot hard enough to make that child cry, then the character department will pass that information on to remind the characters to be more aware of what is around them. New characters don't always have a grasp on their "turning radius", so to speak, and older characters sometimes forget how much space they take up. It's always a good reminder and never seen as a non-issue.
If Buzz -- for some reason -- stomped on the kid's foot on purpose, that is also unacceptable and needs to be dealt with.
CTmommyx3 mentioned it when it happened, and the immediate character group was likely reminded by the handler to (literally) "watch their step", but it may or may not have made it into the daily log book. There is no harm to having her relate the experience and send it to Disney as well.
