Email code and AP question

For others who have recently gotten APs.... do they stop sending you "regular" or "package" email codes once they know you have an AP? I got a couple of email codes earlier this year, but since I activated my AP in July, I haven't gotten any of the ones announced here. Do AP holders not get pins? I did get an email about the AP room discount (about 10 hours after I saw it here). But no more pin emails.
Any insights?

You got a couple of email codes earlier this year...wow I've yet to see one at all and i have been going to disney and on all the mailing lists for years. Many many people have never gotten one of if they have gotten one or some it will be long stretches between. Count yourself lucky you got them at all.

Also from previous conversations here it seems that the more places disney has you listed the more likely you are to get a special email/postcard special. So if anything ap should help your chances but it cant possibly help you more than what you were already getting.

I currently have an active AP and got an email code today.

$84 per night *

I read somewhere else on the boards that these rates are good until 12/23.

Hmm... Of course, I don't think that is really any better than I did with my AP code for Oct. But it could help me in Dec (where I can't get any discount).
Maybe they see I already have 3 reservations pending for Oct and Dec, and they figure I don't need any more motivation to come!
