Thanks for the address!
Ohana has always been my favorite restaurant, but my last visit was even more wonderful. I am usually with family or a group of friends and am the only vegetarian. I can still eat plenty of what they bring out, but I have gotten a vegetarian entree of rice with stirfry tofu and veggies a few times when I ask for it. However, on my most recent visit I went with just one other friend who also happens to be a vegetarian. When we told our server, she immediately brought out Chef TJ who asked us more about what we could and couldn't eat. Not only did he personally bring out and explain everything he served us (including some of the regulars), but he came back a few minutes later to check up on how we liked everything.
It was a great experience I will never forget. Usually I feel out of place when I have to order the vegetarian item or ask for another option. My servers sometimes make me feel like it is a hassle or inconvenience, and even sometimes look at me strange. Chef TJ said many times how cool it was that he thought we didn't eat meat and how there are so many options for us even though we are vegetarians! He is awesome and I know many others have had good experiences with him as well.
