Where did you see him?

I've seen him a few times at Madison Square Garden and he never fails to put on a great show!

Charlottesville. UVAs arena. Not a very big venue. I took my 21 y.o who I was surprised knew most of the songs. He played mostly the old stuff from the 70s, my favs. Really glad we went as I dont see getting to Vegas anytime soon.
He played from about 8 oclock to almost 11, which I thought was pretty amazing.

I saw him right after he had his pacemaker "installed" and he was on stage for almost 4 hours! I don't know how he can still do it.

I haven't seen him in Vegas either. He wasn't there the last time I was there.

I saw him Wednesday night in Hershey! OMG, wow, I don't know what to say. There really is something amazing about seeing someone who is an icon like that right in front of you. He played 3 solid hours. What an amazing catalog of music. Of course, I knew that, but it blew my mind thinking that surely he must be done soon and the songs kept coming and coming.

Rocket Man...one of my least favorite EJ songs....was a highlight of the night. That was sooooo cool.

He came out before the encore and spent a couple minutes signing autographs for the people up front. Neat.

The only bummer for me....we had great seats on the lower level very close to the stage, but because of the way the piano was turned, his back was to us.

Glad you enjoyed it too. I would love to see him again.

I've seen him nine times and he never sings for less than 3 hours. Amazing. I met him once and thought I'd pass out from sheer joy. :lmao: Yes, I love him. I still have the pen he used to sign an autograph for me. :thumbsup2

Elton is great and I've loved every show I've seen him do over the past 35 years. :)

I was at the Charlottesville show too. He was just awesome!! He also spent some time signing things for people down front. I thought that was very cool!

I saw him once in Knoxville and he was great! Actually, he was as sick as a dog (high fever) and still performed for a long time. I do not remember how long he played.
I do remember he was so sick that he'd sing for a long time and then leave and then sing again and leave. Honestly, I could not imagine doing what he did that night. Of course, we're talking close to 25 years ago, he was much younger then. :)

Glad you had a great time. Those oldies are goodies!!
