First time going to Disney in 15 years.. and we have 4 children under the age of 8. On our Epcot day we have breakfast at Akershus at 8:00am... do you think it is a good strategy to as soon as we get done with breakfast get into line immediately to meet Elsa and Anna? I've heard they are in Norway and that is where we'll be eating. I just don't know how the meet and greets work.. when I was last there the characters just walked around and you could meet them!
TIA!

1- do you think it is a good strategy to as soon as we get done with breakfast get into line immediately to meet Elsa and Anna? I've heard they are in Norway and that is where we'll be eating.

2- I just don't know how the meet and greets work..

1- Yes. But, unfortunately you may be standing behind guests who started lining up at about the time you were still having breakfast.
There may up to dozens of guests already standing in that line (depending on, well, everything that day.)

2- Many (most) of them (like this one) are first-come, first served, from guests standing in a line.

So Elsa and Anna are out in a meet n greet before WS opens? Who gets to see them...just Akershus guests?

1- Nope.

2- Guests will walk (RUN, actually) back to Norway in the mornings and get in line.

Elsa and Anna are so amazingly popular (Frozen is a very good movie) that guests will start lining up to wait to see them long before they are ready to greet guests. Right now, the Meet for them opens at 11AM.

Lines can expand to 3 to 5 hours long each day.

Anna and Elsa are very popular characters. Their lines have been 2-5 hours fairly consistently since their movie came out on Thanksgiving. The characters almost never just walk around, they all have a set location and time they'll be out. Anna and Elsa are in Norway at an inside location across from Akershus.

They don't start meeting until 11am and people have started lining up from 9am, meaning they have at least a 2 hour wait. If you have one adult, I'd see if they can leave by 9am and get in line. You can finish up breakfast and then take the kids into Future World until closer to 11am. The later it gets into the day, the longer the times generally gets. Expect to wait at minimum 2-3 hours unless you get VERY lucky.

Check out kennythepirate.com for the best times guide for all characters (it's honestly SO much better than the WDW site and app)
