Elsa and Anna meet & greet: how long did you wait in line?

That's what mine said when I tried to book all 5 of our FP+ together. It does mean that they don't have any available. It did 2 together & 3 individually all around the same time so we could go in together.

I could be totally wrong, but you guys might want to call Disney directly and see if you can link all of your fast passes at the same time. When I did my choices a couple of months ago I had one time to meet Mickey and then tried to change it, but it only changed mine, and not the other 4 people in my party. When I tried to go back and put the other 4 at my time, it wouldn't give me the same option, but would give me like 15 minutes later. I choose it, then called Disney and they were able to switch it to all at the same time.

Since this is Elsa and Anna, it's possible that they are all sold out, but wouldn't hurt to give them a call and check it out. :)

Are you allowed to leave Akershus whenever you want, or do they restrict that? I have an 8:10 reservation this coming Sunday, and my plan was to leave around 8:40-8:45 to go to the A&E line. Do the waiters tell you when you can leave to go to the line? Were you done with all of the Princesses in Akershus by then? Out of everything we are doing in the parks this is the one I am most worried about...lol! :) I just don't want to wait 5 hours.

When I got there at 8 I asked to pay our bill then. That way we were able to leave whenever we wanted to. :)

You can leave Akershus whenever you want to line up. Some people are lining up at 8am. Once you get to your table, ask to settle the bill. It's a set menu so this is simple. That way as soon as you're finished and have seen the Princesses, you can leave. Generally it takes 40 minutes maximum to get all the Princesses. It depends on exactly where you are sitting. Last trip, we met them all within 15 minutes of us getting seated because we were in the first few tables the Princesses visited.

Thanks so much! Our reservation is at 8:10 and I am hoping we see most of the Princess by 8:40-8:45 so I can go over to the Anna and Elsa line. I will definitely ask to pay the bill when we are seated.

These are great strategies or.... you could be Tina Fey and her daughter which got ushered right in on Sunday through the gift shop that backs the Frozen Meet & Greet. ;)
I know they could not just let her sit in the regular line but it was so funny how covert they made it seem. She was practically running through the shop with her head down. I actually had to move or they would have run over me and I did not even recognize it was her.
We moved on to Mexico and rode a ride with her guide and her and her daughter but no one was bothering her even when she was waiting for the next boat for the Mexico ride.

How funny!! I heard next week the cast of The Middle are going to be filming around Disney. I am going to keep my eye out for them. :)

Has anyone been in the line this week? I was just wondering if it's still just as crazy since the girls are now in the FoF parade?

Are Anna and Elsa still outside Akershus. I saw that they were being moved to Princess Hall at the MK, didn't know if this was complete or not. We will be there next week and do not want to wait 2 - 3 hrs to see them.

They don't move until April 20

Yes for now they are still in Epcot. I wish they would have moved to MK already. It seems it would be much easier to do FP+ than wait for so long. I will be there Sunday with a early Akershus ADR and I am hoping to beat the lines.

I am waiting, do you all really think there will be no line in MK? Even with fast pass. I am wondering how long until we start seeing posts about remember how great it was when it was in Norway.

Oh - I don't think anyone is expecting that there will be no line. (Unless I missed some post earlier...)

I think the relief a lot of people feel is that MK princess hall is set up much better for long lines than Norway is and might even be able to "magically" let two groups meet the princesses at the same time. :) So even though the lines will still be long, I get the impression they might move a little faster and/or be more efficient and/or comfortable.

Just interpreting what I've read from these boards as I help a friend plan for her visit at the end of april.

I would bet the lines will be at least 2 hours with all the fast passes. We waited over an hour last Oct for regular princesses (rapunzel and Ariel I think) because of all the fast passes going in. I was used to a 20-30 min wait with regular fast passes. At least it's a better place to hold the line, and seems like they will be permanent.

Of course, the downside now is that with FP everyone will have to wait those two hours, unlike in Norway where it was actively encouraged for one member of the party to wait while the others go explore.

Yes, with the line inside it makes it harder. Hopefully people will be understanding when one of the parents has to take the 4 year old potty. :)

Today, the line was at four hours wait by 9:10am. By 9:15am, the wait was 5 hours (a close friend is there right now and has been messaging me while waiting) It is just as crazy. She said people were actually running back to Norway and no CM tried to stop them.

I believe it, but its so against the old policy of no running, its kind of mind blowing. I remember just a few years ago doing rope drop at HS and not being allowed to even walk faster than the CMs on the way to ToT. People do run at Tokyo DisneySea, they run as soon as they get in for fast passes to the major rides. The CMs are kind of gesturing with their hands to slow down, but they don't actually enforce it. I just hope no one trips and falls of hurts anything on their way to Norway.

Are you saying you bet the lines for SB will be at least 2 hrs because of fast passes, or the lines for FP+ will be 2 hrs.? I'm assuming the former, and I agree.

A friend is going next week and her DD wants to see the princesses. Her middle-aged mother is going as well and will be in a wheelchair. Would she be able (in her chair) to hold their place in line? She has a broken leg so can't leave the chair to wait.

I think the SB line will still be at least 2 hours because of FP feeding in. And the FP will probably back up too, so take line will be around 20-40 mins depending on the time of day, crowds, return times, etc.
