Elsa and Anna meet & greet: how long did you wait in line?

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere or not but starting on Easter MK has Anna and Elsa listed https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/magic-kingdom/2014-04-20/#timeofday=allday

Edited to add they aren't listed at Epcot from then on either.

I hope they will keep them at both since they are so popular. Then we will have a better chance of actually being able to see them! I am booked at Askerhaus but I had that booked before I knew that breakfast ressies were a strategy to meet A&E.

Now I just need to figure out how to make a fast pass for meeting a princess at fairytale hall (right now it is grayed out and says standby?)

Grr, I wanted them to add them to MK, not take away from Epcot. That would help out the lines having two places to meet them not just one. Also we only planned on going to MK during extra magic hours, which means I guess we will not be able to see Frozen girls :(

As for them being careful about not having multiple characters out, not always the case! We saw belle in blue dress in world showcase, then walked over to future world and oops there she is in yellow dress! We turned my daughter and distracted her so she didn't catch on ;)

That does happen sometimes during Training. Belle in EPCOT has happened on a number of occasions, I've personally seen it at least twice. As long as you can't see Belle twice from the same spot, you're safe.

Oops, just grabbed an 8:20am for Crystal Palace in anticipation but now see that it is an Extra Magic hours day at MK. Should I hold onto it? Can I get in earlier with an 8:20am than Rope Drop would be on an early open day?

I keep clicking in the link and going to the site and I don't see them anywhere. Just Cindy and tangled

So is everyone now making "throwaway" ressies at MK to meet them?! Are we certain that they will not be in Norway anymore at all?

Belle does have a very busy day you know, and perhaps she heard your daughter was in future world and wanted her to see her gold gown! Characters travel around the parks an awful lot, thanks to pixie dust!

I don't think they'd take Cindy/Punz out of fairytale hall. It's an extension of Cinderella Castle after all, and she and Rapunzel are the two most popular princesses. Anna and Elsa are huge right now but it'll die down eventually, just like Rapunzel when she was still at the garden.

Just checked the calendar again to see if fast pass was available yet. Anna and Elsa have now disappeared off of the calendar for the Magic Kingdom in late April. They were just there last night....where are those two sisters hiding?? Maybe they are building a snowman?!?!

Kenny just now posted a comment in the comment section of his blog stating that Anna will continue to wear her "winter" outfit and not her coronation dress for the new meet and greet. He's leaving the posted info from yesterday "as is" so it looks to be correct.

According to Kennys site, the information that appeared on the WDW site before vanishing was that Cinderella and Rapunzel would be meeting in one side. Anna and Elsa would be meeting together on the other side, along with a visiting Princess. So either Snow White or Aurora would be out.

wdwmagic.com posted the following info this morning:

Good news for fans of Frozen's Anna and Elsa - both will be moving to the Magic Kingdom's Princess Fairytale Hall next month.

Anna and Elsa are currently generating huge waits at Epcot's Norway Pavilion, with lines often reaching 4 or 5 hours, and causing significant congesting around the World Showcase promenade. The move to the Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland meet and greet location is expected to take place on April 20 2014. Princess Fairytale Hall provides FastPass+, which will allow guests to make reservations in advance to meet the characters without the wait.

OK weird question here. We have a 3 year old daughter who loves Anna and Elsa, but call me selfish, I do not want to wait in a 6 hour line for them. We were hoping to get there at RD during EMH and run over to check the line in the morning. If its 2 hours or less, we can do it. The question is: is it obvious from signage/theming around the line that Anna and Elsa are there? If we end up deciding not to wait in the line, I don't want my 3 year old to know that they are there and insist on waiting.

PS: We are going to be there before the rumored switch to MK.

It's best to have one adult in your party run over to check the line. Have them text you as you and your daughter head over at a slower pace.

That makes sense. So I can hold the place in line while the rest of my family shows up?

Yes, if you decide to wait, the rest of your family can explore the park... Just let them know when the line starts moving so they can line up with you.
