I think getting there at 11ish is cutting it close. I actually got the tickets and they told me to check in to get them no later than 10am for the 12pm taping on Saturday.

I also believe I read in this thread somewhere that stand by tickets would be available starting at 9am on both Friday and Saturday so I would get there well before then if I were hoping for them. Good luck!

I went back and read the whole thread, I think I'll get there early in the AM and get in line for the hand out ones then play it by ear. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a call between now and then!

They must have had a huge response as the website says the tickets are all gone. Our only hope is to try standby. To be honest, our time is so limited @ US that I don't think our party will have the luxury of waiting for several hours to see if we can get in. And I'd make such great riff-raff...

I requested tickets shortly after it was announced... and I haven't heard anything yet. I guess they are notifying all the FL folks first? I'm up in VA but will be in Orlando for 2 weeks, starting March 26th, so if I get tickets, I need to know next week, otherwise I won't be home or at work to get the call!

BTW, for those who are getting calls, ya know you could request 4 tickets and let some of us unfortunate folks have the extras...

Quick question - for those of you that have gotten your "email" from Ellen about the show, it says to check in by a certain time but it doesn't say WHERE to check in. Can anyone help me out? I'm sure I'll figure it out but I'd like to have a general idea of where I'm going. Thanks!

I got a call from someone on Friday at my JOB! The lady told me to call her back quickly because the tickets are almost gone. Of course I didn't get the message until today and the message on her machine was that they were on hiatus. HOPEFULLY she's checking her messages....

Also, I found this website that lists the guests on most of the talk shows for the coming week and following week. Ellen's stops at 3/30 but I'm sure it will be up soon - I hope.

I just wanted to point out that I contacted her thru her media rep using my "ahem" media ties....

I'm bummed to not get tickets, but I'll live. I was pretty sure that I didn't get the ticket call since I was going to get the "you won the trip" call, but no such luck there either (I really just wanted those FOTL passes).

Well, looks like I BLEW IT! She told me that all of the shows are completely sold out. If I had ONLY called her when she first called me Friday... ...

Oh well, she told me that there is a way to watch the show outside anyway which sounds like what we may be doing. Serves me right for not checking my messages over the weekend...
