Ellen gives a disney vacation to a fellow Diser!!

Today, nov 28 Ellen DeGeneros gave a magical getaway to Disneyland to a family of 7. They are dear friends of mine and also Disboards members. They are getting an all expense paid 4 night/3 day vacation to Disneyland. Plus they had Mickey ears for all of the along with Minnie stuffies for their 5 girls. Then after taping (taped before Thanksgiving week) they shipped 8 Disney parks princess dresses for their girls. They are such a deserving family, and I'm way excited to help them plan their dream vacation!!!

We watched this in Australia today, in fact on reruns will be on again in another 10 minutes.

Thanks! I don't venture to the community board too often so it never occurred to me to post here. They are very excited. They will be getting a call soon to finalize dates so we had a brainstorm session this morning. They don't know where they'll be staying so we planned for best use of MMs in case they stay onsite.

Hello from the the family of 7 going to DL thanks to Ellen. We are very excited the girls come home from school everyday strip off what ever they have on and put on their princess dresses! Thank you for all of the Congrats and kind words! Shannon and I began planning our Dream Vacation today! I'm sure there will be more planning to come! LOL!
