What do you think of her?

I saw her on Jay Leno, Monday night I think it was. I've seen her fairly consistently on the View. When she was on Jay Leno, it seemed like she was quite giggly, to the point that I felt a little embarrassed for her. I don't necessarily agree with some of her political views, but I do have a positive impression of her as a person.

I saw her on Jay Leno as well, and yes she was pretty giggly. I think she must have been very nervous (not sure why) but that's how it came off to me. I tend to sometimes agree with a lot of what she says, and sometimes not at all, but overall I have a good impression of her as well.

I can't stand her. Her voice is shrill. And she acts like a bully when trying to get her point across. Maybe she had to do that when Rosie was there (especially toward the end) - but she shouldn't need to that now.

I've been trying to quit that show, not just because of Elizabeth - but Barbara is on my last nerve. Her questions are horrible and embarrassing, and she tries to be hip and funny - it just ain't happening.

....... but this week they are in Disneyland (so I've been watching....)

I've noticed she always comments on men. She said yesterday to Bob Iger that he was the best looking CEO.

I give anyone credit if they are the lone dissenter and not afraid to back down. Joy Behar really annoys me and Barbara just stuns me with how low she has sunk doing this show.

Whenever I see Joy and Elizabeth off the View, they always say there is no disfunction and nothing but respect for each other. I believe them. Elizabeth has not dissed Rosie since leaving but has said that going to work is much more enjoyable. I'm guessing the other hosts feel that way too.

I can't stand her at all. I can listen to Anne Coulter for hours without getting annoyed, so I don't think it has to do anything with EH's political views. I just can't put my finger on it, but just the sound of her voice makes me cringe. :headache:

I agree with JARN that her voice is shrill :headache:

I don't agree with her politics. I do think she has no choice to try to bully her opinion as Joy is so dang loud, she drowns out everybodys voices. She really is the minority on that show politically. I would be as frustrated as she gets as well.

IRL, I couldn't see ourselves being pals-I think we would argue :rolleyes1

I think Joy is the one who acts like a bully. But I agree Elisabeth's voice is sometimes annoyingly shrill. And sometimes Barbara gets on my nerves. I don't watch it as much as I used to, since the campaign is over. I have to admit that I watched it every day (well, evening, after recording it) during the campaing just because you never knew what sparks were going to fly each day. I knew there would be sparks, just didn't know in which direction they would fly

I still think she's getting ganged up on regularly. She has to interject herself into the conversation forcefully or the others will walk all over her. She's only the reason I watch the show.

Well that and I don't have cable. :lmao:

I can't even bear to listen to Ann Coulter. If she is on a program, I usually turn it off. Although, I think alot of her game is just plain and simple entertainment. She loves the attention.

Which is too bad because when she's not insulting (which is 95% of the time), she CAN make sense and debate well. She lived near my old office. What's kind of scary is that everyone says she's very nice.

That's absolutely it! So far I haven't agreed with ONE thing Anne has to say, but I don't find her annoying, I DO find her funny though.

i don't agree with EH's political views but eh, people differ on beliefs and opinions all the time. she seems down to earth and smart. i wouldn't stop watching because of her. Barbara Walters on the other hand is something else. she tries to be funny..she's not. Her banter with the guests sometimes comes across like she's trying too hard and little bits of racial insensitivity slip out every now and then. when the ladies were discussing the political cartoon depicting obama as the chimp that was gunned down she thought it was because it was a "black" monkey that itwas causing controversy. one time many years ago she was interviewing a Hispanic guest and asked her somethig like "oh when your father immigrated..." and the guest replied "my father was born here..." lol. :confused3

I thought Elizabeth had a mic in her ear on The View so she could spout those right wing talking points straight from Faux News. Guess she didn't have it during her giggle fest with Jay. ;) ;) Seriously, has that woman ever had an independent thought? :confused3

:scared:
Yeah, that's scarry.

I thought all the ladies on the View had mic's in their ears. I do think Elisabeth thinks independently, but I don't always agree with her.

I have the complete opposite political views of EH but I respect her. She's had a tough time on the View, even after Rosie left (Joy is a bully), but she has held her own and been very gracious off-camera about it. I don't think there's anything wrong with being passionate about one's beliefs.

Rosie insinuated this in her book. Except she was getting the info from the Executive Producer - Bill Geddie.

She does often quote Sean Hannity.
