I've read that there is an elevator from the quay up to the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco instead of walking up the hill.
Does anyone have experience finding this elevator? We need directions.

We were in that elevator, but I'm afraid I can't tell you how to find it. We were on a group tour and they led us there. :confused3

Sorry.
:cutie:

While I cannot help you with the elevator, I can tell you that we got off the train, walked outside and got on the public bus to go up there. It was a very nice bus with a helpful driver and an assistant to make sure we got to where we wanted to go. It was about a euro or 2. Don't remember. Took about 5 min. To get there. Enjoy!

Basically there is 2 sets of escalators and an elevator (you go up one lot of escalators then there's an elevator bit then the other escalator - both of which I assume have an elevator access for wheelchairs somewhere) from the car park at the base of the hill to next to the Oceanagraphic Museum. It should be pretty easy to find. We did a trip (non-dcl sailing) that included a bus to the car park which is why I only know that entrance. Might help to know that there is an open air cinema within the complex that the escalators and elevator were in and this may be a good point of reference but sorry I can't help more.

The escalators are very easy to find.

When you're looking up at the rock that is Monacoville, the escalators are at the end of a pathway that follows the water to the left of the rock. For the escalators you would walk around the corner to the left.

After you disembark, just follow the path along the water to the left around the mountain/rock and you will run into a car park. Go inside the parking lot and then you will see escalators on your right hand side. Keep taking them up up up until you reach elevators, take those up and then one more set of escalators will take you to the oceanographic museum entrance.
