Yeah, I have to admit that, being from the Pacific Northwest, I am used to snow-topped mountains and incredible views - and, sadly, it does become commonplace. However, I lived away from here long enough to appreciate it, and the views in Alaska were especially spectacular - nothing could beat Tracy Arm for me, however.I can't get over how pretty the scenery is! Really!
I think all the talking & standing around would be too boring for any young kid. I know Reid would have been very impatient with that & whining to go back to the boat for sure.
The dogs are all so cute!!
Honestly, the excursion was really fun, but it was kind of silly that they had SO much talking - down to the exact food they cook for the dogs on the trail, etc. And some of it really was just rambling by people who were really into what they do with no perspective on how much others might be interested in it. I enjoyed learning about how it works out on a race with the dogs, but even I was kind of
