Has anyone done the Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy? If so, did you like it and what did you do?

Patty

My husband and I both had the hot stone massage on the Wonder back in March. I liked it better than a regular massage but I do not think I will opt for more spa treatments on a Disney Cruise. The "hard sell" of products after the treatment takes all the relaxation away.

I would highly recommend the Rainforest Thermal Spa - we always sign up for the length of cruise pass and go for an hour or so every day. It's super relaxing and no one is trying to peddle over-priced body care on you.

I have had the Hot Stone Massage several times and loved it! The combination of heat and smooth strokes is fantastic. I like it better than a Swedish massage. As far as product solicitation, I simply tell the technician before she starts that I do not want any products and am not interested in hearing about them. In 4 cruises, I have never had anyone try to sell me a thing!:thumbsup2

Try writing on your form when you register that you do not want anyone to try to sell you products, that usually does the trick:)

As far as the stone massage...I've never scheduled it, but when I had a massage on my last cruise (wow, Florence & Pisa was hard on my back:)) I had the BEST massage...at one point, I felt like she was using hot oil, and it was fantastic. After, I learned what I thought was oil was actually hot stones! It was blissful, and I am going to do it next time I cruise, budget willing!

I have this booked for my upcoming cruise and just wanted to see how this spa treatment is...good, bad???:confused3

I'm merging your thread with a thread from yesterday asking the same question.

I just had this on a 5 day cruise in June. I didn't book anything before but waited for the specials. On Key West day I was able to get the stone massage PLUS one free thing. I choose to also have a mini facial.

Bother the stone massage and mini facial were awesome. I honestly didn't feel very pressured to buy anything. She told me what she had used and that was it.

If you are able to I might wait til you are onboard to see what the spa specials are like I did. I think it was around a $60 thirty minute mini facial that was free.

I was looking at the info. on the Rainforest Spa and am planning on doing it on our first cruise. The cost looked pretty reasonable, but I'm not sure how updated the info. was. How much is it usually? :)

Stone treatment is my favorite!! We actually do the Villa treatment for two, and the stones is a choice, always go for that! It is sooooo relaxing. If Liviu or Boris are available on the Magic, I would request them.

Definitely go for it... Haven't had it done on the cruise, but have at the spa I visit locally, and it is a very relaxing wonderful treatment.
