To all experienced Spa users:I´m thinking of spoiling myself with a nice treatment and would like to know,if somebody could tell me more about it?
Thanks and lots of greetings from Germany

I did this treatment on my May 2003 cruise and it was very nice. They basically begin with a standard massage on your back, arms, legs etc. Then you roll over for a facial. You come out feeling really relaxed. I think its a nice way to treat yourself and would do this treatment again.

Not sure when you are cruising but defiantly if you are doing a shorter one (3 to 4 day) get to the spa quick to make an appointment as slots fill up fast.

Good luck and happy sailing.

This is one of my favorite treatments! I have details in several of my trip reports at www.castawayclub.com
I think it is the longest treatment they offer. I always love a massage, and the facial is so decadent and relaxing that it almost always puts me to sleep. The only bad part is that when you're done with the massage, you have to roll over onto your back for the facial, and I'm usually half asleep already.
The seaweed wrap/massage is another great treatment too. They coat you with seaweed and wrap you up like a baked potato. You feel really detoxified afterwards.

we did a "girl's version" of this (basically the couples version for 2 girls) on our 11/1 cruise. LOVED it. We both totally zoned during the massage and flipped over for the facial. By the time the spa ladies left to let the last part of the facial "set" we were almost asleep. But we started chatting and giggling and the spa ladies found us most humorous when they came back.

First class spa treatment; definitely do it (and take a friend!)

Gutentag! It is to die for! It was worth every penny and is very relaxing!

Thanks a lot everybody.

I´m on a 7 night cruise and think i will be able to get an appointment for this treatment or the aromaspa ocean wrap.

I did the Total Face and Body and the treatment itself was very enjoyable and relaxing. The bad part came after when the girl spent 15 minutes trying to sell the products she used on me. I really wasn't interested and told her so, but she was very persistant. That pressure helped undo all the good that the massage and facial had done.

My friend and I were very worried about that, but our ladies just asked if we had any questions on the products or needed anything and when we said no, they gave us the bill and we left.

It really seems to be related to the technician you have; last year dh and I had much more pressure to buy things, but nothing this year.

I think it also has some corolation to how long they've been on the ship. In my experience, the newer people are more pushy than the ones that have been on the ship longer.
