Maybe someone can put my mind at ease. I booked some tickets with skydeals flying with delta for this friday. (one stop in atlanta) Anyway, I didnt receive any tickets last week so contacted them and was told that they are electronic tickets and just to show up at check in in the north terminal and all would be well.

I feel a little uneasy because my confirmation invoice says nothing about all this. Has anyone else had experience of electronic tickets ie nothing in you hand at all??? and is this usual with skydeals??

I booked some Virgin flights last Oct through Deckchair.co.uk My invoice also stated E-tickets. When I called Virgin to prebook seats they found the booking no problem so that eased my mind. I used twilight check-in and again no problem.

I book a lot of business travel for the people I work for and e-tickets seem to be the way of the future, the vast majority of the trips I arrange are now e-tickets and so far all have gone fine.

You should be okay. I think it just takes a bit of getting used to not actually having a physical ticket in your hand.

Enjoy your holiday

We had Virgin E tickets last year just like Annmarie and had no problems at all.

I've used them and they were fine :) though I did take a print of the confirmation email to be on the safe side!

We've used e-tickets with no problem but agree it does take some getting used to. It's set to become the norm before too long :)

Yes - we've had e-tickets - agin, no problem. We had booked with Expedia and they told us to take a copy of our printed itinerary. Doing the same this time around too.
