Electrical Water Pageant delayed during MNSSHP

I know it's awhile before my trip, but I'm obsessed with the details !

The night I'm planning on watching the Electrical Water Parade is during a MNSSHP night. I read somewhere that when the fireworks are at 9:00, that the EWP is delayed.

If the fireworks for MNSSHP are at 9:15, about how long will it be delayed or do they not run it at all on MNSSHP nights !

I will be watching it from the GF and it usually gets there at 9:15 on normal nights.

I don't think the EWP runs the nights of MNSSHP.

Usually when that water parade is going on it's closing time at the MK so the crowd is exiting and has that to watch.9pm during a MNSSHP is smack in the middle of the party time.

I could be wrong though! It has happened before ....if anyone knows better please correct me as I'm not certain if the info I've give is right!!

Not sure if this applies or not - but during MVMCP in December we stayed at the Polynesian & the Water Pageant still ran every night. It was great to sit on the beach and watch both fireworks & the water pageant. HTH!

I believe the EWP runs every night pretty much the same time and the parties do not effect it.

I am pretty sure it runs the same time every night no matter what. I remember reading somewhere that there is some sort of record for it's many performances. It's the one thing you can always count on being there.

I think it is delayed during MNSSHP b/c last year, my IL's took DS back to the Poly after the fireworks and she mentioned how much he loved the EWP...they definitely left MK after 9:00 so there is no way they could have seen it if it wasn't delayed. This was a Sunday night, Oct. 19th.

I'll just call the hotel closer to October & ask for the times during MNSSHP.

I plan another night as back-up just in case it's too late or doesn't run.
