We ate here this past trip, the first time in 5 years. My DH and I both had the burgers and fries. My kids had chicken nuggets, fries and chocolate pudding. DH and I loved the burgers- they were really good. My DH actually got himslef another one. My kids ate their chicken and loved thier first Disney chocolate pudding dessert! It's nice to know we didn't have to drag ourselves to the WS in the blistering heat to get a good lunch!

We ate there yesterday and DH had the hamburger. He ate it all up which means it was good I guess. I had the veggie wrap and it was a bit soggy. Been sitting a bit too long I think. I came with fries so that made up for it! It could have used a zippy kind of sauce with it; it was a bit bland.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the increase in quality of burgers in WDW, I have been going to EPCOT since I was seven probably every three or so years, but more frequently now, the burgers over the past 2-3 years taste pretty good actually, maybe it is because now the deault burger is a double with bacon (I remember when it was just do you want a cheeseburger, hamburger or maybe a pizza if were lucky at all of the quick places to eat) now it seems Disney rode the wave of super-sized meals as the number I think is a double with cheese and bacon! The buns have definitely become better, the patty is alot bigger, and taste of the burger is better and the fries taste better too, I would order a plain hamburger (no cheese) but it doesn't seem to be on the menu, I guess they would have to order it special!

My husband and two daughters have this "thing" where they HAVE to go to the Electric Umbrella as our first stop in WDW. I know it is just the usual counter service fare, but it is pretty good! And after eating the swill at Cosmic Rays...I guess all CS places are not created equal.:)

My parents and I have been to the Electric Umbrella two times and we think it's a very good counter service location. What I like best about is the guests can get drinks themselves, so we can go and get refills. I know that last month when eating there we took advantage of that.
