Electric toothbrushes...

yes, I recommend the cheapest one

Hi, in our office we recommend the Oral B Braun and the Sonic care electric toothbrushes. Don't waste your money on the el-cheapo ones - they are no better than a manual toothbrush.

My Dh loves these things. We use the oral-b midprice ones, but my DH has several and is always in search of the perfect one. Right now he has an oral-b rechargeable one, but I really find the whole thing takes up way too much space on an already full bathroom sink.

We use Sonicare. My wife used to have gum problems and the dentist recommend the Sonicare tooth brush. It made a huge difference and her gum problems are mostly gone now.

The kids' dentist suggested that we get the inexpensive kind from the drugstore. She said they worked as well as the expensive ones in her opinion. I got one for myself, which may not have been such a good idea. I have one tooth that had such a big cavity that they had to build up the side of the tooth as well as the interior. I just started using the electric toothbrush two weeks ago and I think the vibrations were too much for that filling - it fell out last night. If you don't have any problems like that, I think they're very good and certainly make it easier for the kids to do a better job.

I use one, Oral-B. I have heard that Sonicare is really good, but they are expensive.

We use the Oral B and it's wonderful! Our dentist visits are great now, barely any scraping and no cavities! It's worth every penny in my opinion. :teeth:
