Electric Bike

We only have one car and could use a second mode of transportation for close locations.

Any suggestions for a decent electric bike?

every kid over 14 has one where we live. Buy a really good lock, they get stolen all the time

Please be careful with storage. A house I knew recently had a very bad fire started from the battery.

DH and I have Rad Electric Bikes. No problems at all with them. Very happy with them. Lectric was another brand we considered.

Don't own one but the things I would consider is if the battery range is compatible with how far you typically ride, how long to recharge and cost to replace the battery. Also good to buy from a well-known/established brand since a few years from now when you might need to replace the battery, if they have gone out of business you could be stuck with a pricey paperweight.

We don’t have them but it’s interesting to see how many Amish people ride them now. Sure a lot easier on those hills.

We met a guy yesterday who has one. He got a good deal from buying directly from the manufacturer.
