There was some language underneath that part about financing, I myself didn't understand it, but I didn't dwell on it, I know how to vote.

The verbiage on the ballot was kind of vague, but not unclear. The Yes on 2 folks have been fighting a hard fight and a dirty fight (illeagal, actually).

Add to that the fact that the "big guns" in gay politics chose to focus almost exclusively on California's prop 8, meant that the average voter on the street here only heard how harmful people like us are to society.

Well, McCain took TX as a whole (no surprise) but Obama won in Dallas County, which is interesting to me. The local news is saying that Dallas is now a Democrat stronghold for the state. Yay!

Nah. I'm going to stick with my limoncello & bourbon. Pity I don't have any Barenjager (honey liqueur). I'd make myself a "Home Remedy". It's equal parts bourbon (Maker's Mark), limoncello, and Barenjager. Grandma's old standby. Whiskey with honey and lemon. It's and excellent drink. (I usually add a shot of club soda, also)
