I'm tired of the ads.

The ads in my state have reached a new level of ridiculousness this year.

WOW! Judging by the surveys out these days "Middle of the road" seems to be someplace very different than was presented by the media ect so everyone might want to consider easing up a bit. I think we'd all be better off it we listened to each other more, shut each other down less and tried to find middle ground.. aren't we supposed to be able to do that as adults? I can't take any more of this, it's so destructive... sigh ... I don't know about anyone else but I've had it

The only thing worse than hearing all the crap about your own states(WI) politicians is changing to a different station/from a different state and hearing about theirs (IL).
Thats the beauty of living smack dab in the middle between Milw/Chicago

I got 11 (!!!) flyers in my mailbox yesterday. What a waste of paper.

Yep- and I don't even read them anymore. I just throw them in the recycling bin! Wish I had a fireplace! LOL

I'm not sure if people outside of New York have seen our choices for Governor, or have watched any debates, but it's like a skit from Saturday Night Live. I swear I think there is going to be a wheel people can spin at polling places to help decide who to vote for. It's sad, very sad.

I am really looking forward to it being over as well. I'm a different political party than Mil and Fil. Their idea of debate is to get vicious to try to make people from other parties feel inferior It doesn't work. I imagine the outcome for them is the same here. Not everyone wants to expend all that energy arguing points over political issues. We have our own opinions about out and aren't interested in sharing. Its not because we are scared someone will change our minds.

Frankly, my mil and fil have lived sheltered lives, starving them of the opportunity to open their minds to what is really going on in the world.

The only way I deal with them or people like them is by walking away, not allowing them to get their poison debate fanaticism going.

It's the best thing for me, but leaves them feeling like I am a fool.

Changing their views won't happen, but I'm not of the beliefthat anyone is entitled to forcing their opinions down another's throat.

We are free to speak, but forget that we are responsible for those words.

I just don't always agree to be an audience.
