Eisner learns first hand how Disney employees weathered storm

If your company really cares about its community and employees, Disney can do much.
Bethshaya, check out earlier posts on this thread (page 1). They detail what Disney is doing for its Cast Members.

ummm...Beth..

Hugo went through Charleston, SC in 1989 (I lived there) and Andrew went through Miami, FL in 1992.

Just wanted you to get the hurricanes straight.

Glad your company helps employees.

Sure, but in keeping with Eisner's preferred caste system, they are probably relegated to the cheaper resorts!

Having been trapped out of my home when Hurricane Floyd blew threw here a few years back, it would have been really nice and very much appreciated if MY company offered me something to help...cheaper resort or not... at least it would have been someplace to regroup and rest. I'm not a big ME fan, but I'm not going to bash him on this.

For the record, my reference to the caste system was a joke aimed at those who think Eisner can do no right.

DB, and it was a good one. But I leave you with two quotes from the Master:
Clear your mind must be, if you are to discover the real villains behind this plot.
Do not underestimate the powers of the Emperor.
Ei$ner may not be evil. But he is incredibly inept. I sense great strength in you. You will realize soon enough the mistake it is to follow The Dark Side. Remember, "the Dark Side clouds everything."

Anything positive about Eisner will be greeted unkindly on these boards. I for one seem to think he has done a good job over the last year. This is what leaders are supposed to do.

I completely concur :)

WDWSearcher- Thank you for sharing your information about what the Comapny is doing for the CM's.

Overheard by a Disney CM ....Michael Eisner has been notified about the free meals at resorts during the hurricane and "value added" entertainment provided by the storm itself, and all guests will be billed accordingly. :p

You mean he didn't think it was a hurricane, but a hard opening of a new thrill ride??
