Positive attitude and a smile because we are going to the happiest place on Earth!

I don't know if you wanted to bring one, but a power bank to recharge your phone in the park? Cooling towels or mister fans (I have been in July/August before and the are indispensable), A lanyard in case you want to do some pin trading, Autograph book or something your kiddo's might want to have autographed (disney t-shirt, pillowcase, hat...). We will be there in 11 days, doing the happy dance!!!!!

Hey, you're a better packing planner than we are. We pack at about t-minus 8 hours, let alone 8 days. Your list looks pretty good. Are you staying on property or off? If you're staying off property and/or have access to a car, then don't sweat the list too much. My wife and I used to go nuts with the list, but we stay off property. Finally we decided that we'd pack the basics, but realized we're going to Orlando, not the middle of the desert. There are Wal-Marts, CVS, grocery stores, etc...everywhere. If you stay on property and forget something that you'd need at Wal-Mart or such, do you have to just grab a cab or does Disney offer assistance with getting such things?

We always have a car and know that Walmarts are literally just minutes away. And with 5 people in the summer time, with sweat and rainstorms, I am so glad that we have our own washer and dryer!

So exciting! Packing for me is one of my favorite parts of the trip!!! I second the little portable phone charger. That way your phone can charge in your bag as you tour!

I like having a power cord so several devices can be plugged into one outlet each night.
Mousekeeping envelopes - we make them ahead of time and put one out each morning.

A thousand times yes. While nobody wants to do laundry on vacation, we LOVE having a washer/dryer and full kitchen on vacation. We just throw a load of laundry in when we get home, toss it in the dryer before we go to bed and voila. Since we stay off property, we make stops at CVS or Target several times a week to pick up supplies.

I agree with others, packing day is incredibly fun. For our summer trips, my wife and kids are out of school (my wife works at the school where our kids go). I insist they wait for me to get home from work before they pack because I want to be part of the fun.

Oh, my whole family is ready for the packing to begin! My girls have been putting things we "need" into a basket. LOL! :D

I'm the complete opposite! LOL I have to start about a week before hand by doing all the laundry, then pulling out and stacking items from the clean stuff. Then everybody wears the clothes they don't like for the next week. We have the added fun of packing actually two weeks before Disney, because we're visiting my parents in The Villages first.

Leeeeettle too excited here - I've got our swim bag packed at 51 days (everything else involves food or laundry. I am solely responsible for planning, with it being my first Disney trip with kids, and DH is not coming with.)

Only thing I might add - misting fan?

I like to take:
- small, clear hanging organizer ( shoe type) for toiletries/ magic bands, chargers, etc. Holds all of the "stuff" so its easy to find
-extra camera battery ( learned the hard way and paid 4x the cost at BCV)
-book and book light or iPad
-night light for bathroom
-hanging shelf- the type for sweaters-to put in closet for extra storage
-laundry bag
-some sort of bag to take to pool/water park
