That's how I'm hearing it...I didn't realize you could buy OKW directly from DVC, from a guide. I thought you had to get it by resale.


We bought with WDW entirely sight-unseen, and the only resorts offered to us for sale were Bay Lake and AKL. Just looking at pictures we knew we would love OKW, and we just recently stayed there for our first WDW trip and fell in LOOOOOVVVVEEEEEEE. We wish we owned there instead of at BLT!

So I'm completely jealous right now....

We are really looking forward to going. I keep hearing how wonderful OKW is, and am so excited to share it with our family. We are celebrating our 11th anniversary on 11/11/11 and will be able to have our parents and siblings with us! I don't know how I will wait until November!!!

Yes you can buy all the resorts from DVD directly as long as they have the points to sell, in the UY you want. They get the points back through ROFR.

Yes, we did a Disney direct add on for OKW to get the point number and extended contract that we wanted, we had been watching for resales for quite awhile without seeing what we wanted and finally bit the bullit.

You can buy ANY sold out DVC direct from DVC as long as they have the right number of points available. When someone buys OKW direct, they get the extended contract too, so it's good beyond the 2042 that most resale contracts are.
