EEK Another Mouse.

And its not Mickey. IN our basement/laundry room, we have just caught our 4th mouse this week. Ok I am going and buying stuff today. But What. I know they don't like the smell of fabric softener, but that didn't help.So DH has a job to do on Monday. We are going through the basement and filling every hole with I think expandable foam. If that will work.

I had a mouse problem a few weeks ago. I used moth balls, humane mice traps and of course my cats. I couldn't use poison due to the animals.

I thought it was taken care of, but DS thinks he saw one in the bathroom, but I haven't seen any signs of that. With all the rain we've been having lately, along with condo construction behind our house, I'm worried they will start again.

Living out here in podunk we get mice nearly every fall. We tried the humane traps with ritz crackers and peanut butter...but it didnt work..they kept coming back. DH finally had to get these sticky papers that caught them...and I stayed out of the basement because I hated the whole thing They are a pain but I hate to see them hurt....
We thought we had sealed up the whole house too..but they get in somehow.
Just make sure when you seal things up there are not any left trapped in walls or what not we had that happen with a nest of baby squirrles. was not plesant i tell you
