Turns out we'll be at WDW when Animal Kingdom is having Extended Evening Hours in October, and are planning to go. DDIL and DGD have always wanted to ride Flight of Passage, but the lines have always been too long during normal theme park hours. Do waits decrease a lot during EEH?

Like all the other parks after the first hour as everyone can get on a line before the park closes to non deluxe resort guests the line will be long. After do not let a long looking line stop you there is no LL or whatever the name is now so the lines move fast. First hour or hour and a half hit the less popular attractions that are open, we were there for a DVC event which I pretty sure has a lot more people then EEH and the line took about 30 minutes. We did start outside walking through the caves 🤷‍♂️ inside the trees if that helps.

Anyone with first hand experience on how lines have been at AK for EEH? I'm guessing with no safari and probably no entertainment options, that concentrates what little crowd there is onto just a few attractions. Just wanting to see if it's worth the trip over.

So can you get in line in the last few minutes of EEH no matter how long the line? In other words, do the same as non EEH guests when it starts? If not, you're really not getting two full hours at the major attractions.

Yes you can

I went twice in November and it was wonderful. There was, at most, a 5 minute wait at Everest and both Navi and FOP were walk on. The FOP line queue is looooong, even without people lol

Also, the park is stunning after dark and much less crowded overall. I loved it.

Is the park even busy prior to EEH? Usually AK is dead in the late afternoon with a lot of people park hopping, back at the resort, etc. Curious what people’s experiences are.

We were there in October and it was amazing. We rode Everest so many times in a row, Dinosaur they let us stay in to ride over and over, and we rode FOP 2 times back to back. It took longer to walk through the queue of FOP than to get through the pre-show, haha.
