EEC Scavenger Hunt Changes???

I was on the EEC website and noticed that the description for the Scavenger Hunt is different than the format from last year. Here's what the website says:

Scavenger Hunt
After completing the obstacle course with their teammate the trekkers will return to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park along the same 5K course to search for the clues inside their Expedition Passport. When they find a clue inside the park they must have that clue stamped in their Expedition Passport. Once a team has all of their clues stamped then they can return to the finish in the Butterfly parking lot of Disney's Animal Kingdom® Park.

The differences are the mention of getting the passport stamped, and that the finish is in the Butterfly parking lot. But the course map posted on the website still shows the finish as being inside the park.

I like the idea of finishing in the parking lot. Last year we didn't realize that the finish was inside the park and I finished before they were even allowing spectators inside. My boyfriend was pretty upset that he didn't get to see me finish. It was also a bit confusing to distinguish the path to the finish from the 5k course. I kept having to ask cast members where to go.

I don't know about getting clues stamped in the passport. I'm picturing a big crowd of people waving their passports in front of a cast member holding a rubber stamp.

Yes, I see the stamping of a passport (rather than just giving you a pencil and letting you write down the answers) will be a major problem. The lines to get stamps would crazy long. Hopefully, that's just a mistake on the site.
